In a matchup between last seasons Grand Final teams, tensions were always going to run high; but having a single point margin in their grand final match up, this time round both teams were hungry for points! The Salty Dolls secured a solid lead in the first 15 minutes, but the Wild Hearses steadily crept back up and remained neck and neck with them up til halftime. There were a few too many nail biting moments throughout the second half, leaving the crowd teetering on the edge of their seats, and that really tight margin remained for a good chunk of the second half of the game. The Hearses kept fighting, and after a well timed power jam and couple of skater foul outs from the Salty Dolls, the Wild Hearses really secured their hold on the lead. It was a close game throughout, but in the end, the Wild Hearses took it home, winning by 22 points.
