We’re back, baby! Yes, Adelaide Roller Derby is back for an epic sixth season, it all begins on April 6, and we want to see you trackside! Let’s pump up the jam! Pump it up!
It’s time to jump into another action-packed season of flat track roller derby, where the tough-as-nails women of ADRD hold nothing back in this full-contact skating sport. This year, the track might just be set on fire by some bust-out moves from that crazy dance on wheels we call roller derby.
Skaters will need to use brains, brawn, and booties on the floor to be the best this year, especially with the introduction of new game-changing rules like no minors and one-whistle starts.
Four home teams will skate it out over six bouts while the regulators of Team Zebra lay down the law to keep it all fair. It all winds up into an explosive double-header Grand Finale in August, with one team crowned victorious.
To get your slice of the action, don’t snooze when tickets go on sale Friday, March 1 at only $10 per person plus booking fees from oztix at http://adrd.oztix.com.au, or you can get them at the door for $15 per person. Free entry for children under 5. And bring your grandma, because we know she likes to dance trackside.
