When I had to miss the 1st bout of 2010 season due to my stupid self not resting, causing a serious knee injury, had I rested for just 2 weeks I would have been playing that 1st game. boo

I do it in my head, I tend to be creepishly quiet and non responsive to my teammates conversation before a game, some good heavy metal also helps.

Favourite Post-bout Wind Down:

Some classy drinking passion pop from the bottle and dancing around the dressing room to trashy victory music with my team and then to the bar of choice for some well deserved cider and pizza and then wherever the night takes me….

Derby Diet Tips:

I am a vego, so anything that isnt meat, I like to make sure I eat lots of eggs and dairy to keep up my intake of protein and things like spinach and seaweed for iron, you gotta be well fed to play derby.

Derby Injuries:

A massive tumor like mass that grew on my upper thigh from repetitive falling on the same spot, I liked to call it the “leg tit,” tissue damage in my left knee, sprained thumb and many other bumps and bruises all over my body.

Cuts the track unintentionally like a mofo

Guilty Pleasures:

Chocolate, hot chips, trash magazines ( I know, I know, at least I can admit it!) hair dye, always getting it changed

Earliest Roller-skating Memory:

When I had my good ol’ Barbie rollerskates, I must have been around 5 or 6 years old

Memorable Derby-Related Dream:

I remember having a dream in my 1st season of derby about our international trainers from that year, Smarty Pants and Cheap Skate, I dreamt I played with them in America and we won our bout and celebrated like there was no tomorrow.

Non-Derby-Confusion Moment:

Sometimes while walking through a crowded space I act like I am in a pack, darting in between people with out conciously thinking about it.

Origin of Derby Name:

One of the most unlikely of my friends came up with the name and I will forever be greatful to her for it since in the weeks leading up to having to choose a name she would always purposely come up with stupid ones she knew I would hate. She then FINALLY took it seriously and gave me the name I have today.
